Ensure that you have all the required items for the shakeology cleanse in your refrigerator and if possible hide any other item that may distract you. You will require water, tofu, fruits (only when on a workout program), shakeology mix shake, green tea, vinegar, lean proteins like fish, turkey, or chicken, salad ingredients like lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, kales, or any other vegetables.

Some of the beverages and foods to avoid are; dairy, added sugars, bread, starches like rice and potatoes, processed and canned foods. Make sure that you take 3 shakeology shakes a day, 2 cups of green tea a day, 1 – 2 pieces of fruits though it is optional, 1 salad during dinner (can include fish or poultry), drink 2 – 4 liters of water a day, and lastly 2 snacks before or after any major meal.

This is an example of how a typical shakeology 3 days cleanse should look like:

For breakfast;

Ø  Take 1 cup of green tea immediately after waking up

Ø  Then take 1 shakeology shake blended with either ice or water (your choice)


Ø  Have one piece of fruits. Can be apples, citrus fruits, or anything that contains low glycemic

For lunch;

Ø  Have 1 shakeology shake blended with either ice or water

Ø  And a 1 cup of green tea


Ø  You can decide to have a fruit at this time or after dinner as desert

Ø  And 1 shakeology shake blended with either ice or water

For dinner;

Ø  Take a salad with at least 3 servings of leafy green vegetables, tomatoes, broccoli, or peppers

Ø  Have it with low-fat dressing of not more than 2 tablespoons

Ø  4 ounces of lean protein which may be fish, chicken, turkey, or tofu

Although this cleanse is only for 3 days, it is advisable to have it repeated every 3 to 4 months so as to help the body flush out unhealthy toxins that lead to accumulation of weight.
